While scientific community remains cautious and often silent on supernatural forces, technological advances are purported to provide new avenues for exploration.

Detecting spirits or ghosts with the naked eye is typically considered impossible for the average person. However, recent technological developments claim to facilitate such detection. Modern smartphones and tablets are now equipped with cameras that can purportedly detect infrared radiation emitted by supernatural entities. Additionally, these devices incorporate sensors such as compasses, magnetometers, temperature probes, and pressure sensors that are thought to aid in identifying anomalous phenomena.

This application aims to assist users in 'detecting' spirits by analyzing data from device sensors. It claims to provide information on the approximate location and type of detected entities, displaying this data visually on the device screen.

The compass and magnetometer illustrate fluctuations in electromagnetic fields, which some interpret as signs of spectral activity. The temperature sensor monitors sudden drops in ambient temperature—phenomena often associated with spiritual appearances in folklore. The pressure sensor is used to infer the presence and class of a spirit based on its influence on atmospheric pressure.

Currently, the application reports the detection of several entity types, including: brownie, ghost, spirit, demon, and alien. The developers indicate ongoing efforts to expand detection capabilities to encompass a broader range of supernatural creatures and phenomena.
